There were Americans all over the place! First place! Second place! Third
place!

The Vision has been fulfilled and the doubters have been silenced!

Now on to Watkins Glen for some American road racing!

It cannot get any better than this. Tony George is a genius.

It's still amazing how NASCAB drivers are so shit that they can't help running
into each other. You really have to be a retarded, banjo playing goober to
call that garbage racing. It's fixed. The drivers even throw things at each
other on cue to spice up the action and give the monkey's who watch on TV
something to jibber jabber about while they're chugging down their bottles of
JD.

Greatest Indy500, how do you figure, the stands were half empty??? I guess
you didn't stands behind pit wall?
For years they were full, not this year.

How full do the stands need to be to make the racing better?

You have the cause and effect switched there.

The stands need to be full to impress the sponsors that support the
racing. "No bucks, no Buck Rogers."

We saw the emergence of a great young legend - Marco Andretti. Hornish
plated his name in the minds of people across the country.

This was a great race. The struggling IRL has finally awoke and it will
be like King Kong. Now if only they will merge with ChampCar they can then
fulfill their destiny as the best racing series in the world with the best
drivers (even better than F1 drivers.)

What does attendance have to do with what happened on the track?

In other words, it will be back to the way it used to be.

Regardless of how good the racing is, sponsors are brought in by
attendance numbers and TV viewership. If the stands are half empty, the
corporate heads look at that and say, "We're paying how much to promote
a race that can't fill half the grandstands?"
