For the IRL 500, must be around half the field or more? Are the EARLS anticipating and cheering the return of those immortalized by 500 victories, Al Coholic Jr., Underachiever and Buddy? They were all so capable of victory and well within the pole winning time last year, their inclusion wasn't ridiculously preposterous. Also, we will be blessed by tattoo-boy's reappearance? For all the complaining of KK buying TV time, I just don't hear the EARLS acknowledging TG's non stop ride-buying, or recognizing the weakness and uncompetitive nature of the league. Remember kids, all the victories last year were from Ganassi and Penske, with the lone exception of Dario at the St. Pete's street race. Street racing in the IRL!?! Too bad tjmc is so isolated at his Ted Kaczynski Suite with his 'clock' where he has 'no internet access,' otherwise he would be loudly trumpeting the vision's fulfillment with street and road races, yes? |

One more thing, kids: Anton 'Tony' George, May-22-2002, Speedway, Indiana: "We have many new believers and more are joining with us to create for the first time a competitive, stable and growing open-wheel series," George said. "Our goal in five years is to be the premier motor-sports series in the world. Yes, that means compared to NASCAR and Formula One." Guess we'll see all those F1 jocks and NASCAR good-old-boys on their way to the IRL this year, yes? |

It was Helio that won at St Pete this year, not Dario. M apologies, I was thinking of pole winners. So one pole, and two races won by drivers other than the four Penske and Ganassi drivers? Sounds like a pretty competetive series, eh? |

Inexpensive team operations means a different winners all the time based purely on driver skill, not on team wealth. Heroes of the American short-track in an all-American oval series. |

It seems as EVERYTHING you are trying to knock the IRL about is happening at a much larger rate in CC. As for car counts. There will be fewer TG subsidized cars at the 500 than their will be 3 stooges subsidized cars at any CC event this year. Laugh all you want but even with the DP01 and the lease deal, at this moment in time there are more SIGNED and SEALED car and driver combinations in the IRL than there are in CC. |

I find it quite odd that you assume/assert that I disregard problems in CCWS. Try reading what I've actually posted before. Then maybe, just maybe, you won't look so much like a total noob. You seem to perceive your rhetoric as quite erudite. I'm sorry to have to be the one to inform you of how others perceive you and your drivel: http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a37...forum-tard.gif |
