He will get some test rides and he will get a ride, either as a test driver
or an outright seat for next season. Then IRL will lose its only driver with
any class, and Scott can leave the joke that is open wheel racing in the
States, and leave you uninformed rednecks to argue whose series is the
biggest joke.

Yeah and he is counting on a CART team owner to set it up for him...what's
the
matter can't Chippy makes those arrangements? I doubt that Dixon will get
any
test drive because the F1 community doesn't even know what a "Georgie"
driver
is....only is a CART team owner pulls some strings is there any chance of
it
happening....my my how the "Georgie's" have to rely on CART to make
anything
happen in their pathetic series

I take your point, but if he wasn't racing in the States, he would have got
a ride in Europe in Formula 3000 or similar. Between his talent and the
contacts that his managers have he would have got a seat somewhere. He has
been destined to ride in F1 since he first started racing single seaters at
the age of 13. Cream always rises to the top.

Without open wheel racing in the States, Scott would still be driving in
Formula Holden, waiting for some lame Aussie touring car team to pick him
up.

So Helio, Gil, Kenny, Bryan, Tony, Dario, etc. didn't have any class
when they raced in CART?

And exactly what kind of "class" does Paul "Schnizzle My Whizzle"
Tracy have?

He already left CART.

And you can trot right down and buy a "Bubba" with Paul Tracy's belly
painted on it and hug it every night.

Yep. He is going right up the ladder - CART, the IRL, and next F-1.
Wonder when he'll finally make it to NASCAR?

I have no idea what your talking about. I don't even know who Paul Tracey
is. I follow Scott Dixon, and he is the only reason I have watched a few
races of your American series' Cart or IRL. The sooner he gets out into real
racing in Europe the better and I can forget open wheel racing even exists
in USA.

Most Americans have also forgotten so you will have plenty of company.

Very obvious that "times" have changed in the IRL, even for you to notice
without getting some opinions from "CART Experts."

And look at how they have changed for CART:

- No owners reinvesting in the company, save Gerry.
- Record losses
- Revolving door CEO's
- Cancelled races
- Renting tracks
- Promoting events at a huge loss
- Falling stock prices the norm
- Spec engines and cars
- No name drivers
- Shrinking grids
- Rev limiters
- Having t subsidize teams just to make a grid
- Loss of major series sponsors
- Loss of major suppliers who spent millions promoting the series
- Loss of marquee teams
- Loss of marquee events
- Loss of investor trust
- Loss of team owners on the board
- Loss of identity
- Loss of TV viewership
- Falling attendance
- Loss of team sponsors
- Loss of marquee drivers
- Loss of relevance in the motorsports industry
- Pronouncing themselves a feeder series
- Loss and mismanagement of Indy Lights
- Loss of lawsuit with TMS
- Pending lawsuits with Heitzler and Judd-MG

You want me to go on?
