After seeing what a pathological liar you are, I wouldn't want to read
you on this NG. No, wait -- your delusional ramblings are so
entertaining I couldn't miss a minute.

You are the second most entertaining boob here, after the dot of
course. Don't worry, a paranoid schizophrenic is pretty hard act to
follow, but keep trying for that number one spot.

MERGER NOT JUST DEAD, IT'S COMPLETELY DEAD

It's Spring and, just as young men's fancy turns to thoughts of luv,
so the fancy of American open wheel turn to thoughts of a merger
between Champ Car and the Indy Racing League. Forget it, says Champ
Car co-owner Kevin Kalkhoven.

This is necessary to say now since Tony will try to claim a merger is in
the works to sell his 100,000 unbought Indy 500 tickets.

When did they reduce the capacity if Indy to 103,000?

Mergers are invariably beneficial to controlling
interests, but bad for fans, consumers, viewers ...

Truly hilarious!

You have no credibility so get lost like you promised.

Correct, Dave! Now for Final Jeopardy.

in the process?

Maybr Tony's mom and sisters feel the same way about Grandpa's fortune

The really sad thing is just that type of series could have worked if
it had been handled differently and starting with an Indy Pro Series
first. Using a common chassis that could accept the engines for
either series and ADDING another race at Indy you could have
effectively accomplished what he set out to do without driving that
wedge through the fan base. IRL say runs 13 all oval races, their
Indy race and the cars would be easily able to use either the engines
used in Champ Car, or run the same engine that you have used all
year. Engines from both series would be legal Memorial Day weekend.
The second race say the IRL engine only could be used.

NO 25 8. Nuff said. Let the fastest 33 get in where ever they come
from. Rest go home, just as it always had been. Let them compete
against each other and guess what. Sometimes competition makes
everyone better. I am old enough to remember most of the Super
Bowls. As a Johnny U fan, I remember how disappointed I was to see
the Colts lose then. But that game may have done as much to make the
NFL what it is today than any single event. That same thing could
have happened with open wheel racing had growth not control been the
chief objective.

Too late now though. The damage has been done and no quick fix now
exists.
