Rest go home, just as it always had been. Let them compete against each other and guess what. Sometimes competition makes everyone better. I am old enough to remember most of the Super Bowls. As a Johnny U fan, I remember how disappointed I was to see the Colts lose then. But that game may have done as much to make the NFL what it is today than any single event. That same thing could have happened with open wheel racing had growth not control been the chief objective. Too late now though. The damage has been done and no quick fix now exists. |
With the IRL it was always all or nothing. By the time they realized
their error, it was too late to save open wheel.
