I always saw Montoya and Tracy's venture into the 500 as the start of some kind of unification. After the Tracy yellow flag debacle, it seemed like that was off the table. |

I thought Foyt and Andretti were better received in Daytona as they brought respectability to NASCAR. |
|
Jim Clark and Chapman were all about a conquering army of crazed, mid- engined Euros crossing the pond on a mission of destruction for our roadster based society ;-) |
