From: tjmc tjmc.enteract (AT) rcn (DOT) com on sarah Fisher:

"I'll admit it. Tony's got his tit in a ringer on this one."

So you can't. No surprise.

Somehow I knew you'd reply as such, so:

"Tony [George] definitely wants her out here but I don't like that
approach," [Fisher car owner Dennis] Reinbold said.

No link. No naming of where you even got that quote.

Besides, its third-party hearsay. Reinbold may have said that, but we
have no idea of if his interpretation of whatever TG said was anywhere
close to what TG might have actually said. What you have here is no
better than Robin Miller saying he "overheard" something somewhere.

Finally, no where above does it say that Sarah Fisher is part of TG's
or the IRL's "business plan."

I can't stand Sarah. I don't think she should be in that race car, or
in the IRL. I think she is a gimmick at best, but why do you insist
that somehow she must be part of the IRL's long-term "business plan?"

I could just as well assert that an integral part of CART's "business
plan" is to have musical chair teams like Coyne's.

Man, McCauley, you are a troll.

Wow, are you dense.

You can't be serious. You really aren't, are you?

Cop out answer. You keep bringing up this "business plan" and "vision"
and "manifesto" yet never produce it or even a link to it.

You're a liar.

Tony George never said that Sarah Fisher was part of his "business
plan." You made it up. You cannot support the statement (but that's
nothing new for you).

You are not only a liar, but a wimpy, cowardly liar, too.

Funny how you call Akin a "coward" for stuff not nearly as dishonest
and duplicious as you trot out.

Misdirection? Like in your reply? We weren't discussing CART's "business
plan." I was referring to the idiotic references by tjmc to "Tony's
'business plan.'" But there is a very simple answer to all of your
questions - no. Even you should be able to understand that.

Yep. I fully understand that delicate, little wimps like you who live
in glass houses with paper thin panes shouldn't throw about stones and
then cry, whine, and moan when somebody tosses them back at you.

Watch out for the broken glass! You might cut your wittle ankle.

I wonder - do you think running off Honda, Toyota, Marlboro, Penske,
Ganassi, Target, Nunn, Pioneer, Hollywood, Miller, Green, Andretti,
Kanaan, Franchitti, Brack, Dixon, etc. were all part of CART's
"business plan?"

Or do you think that having Coyne with his "auick release" driver's
seat set-up was part of CART's business plan?

Or was conning MG and John Judd part of their business plan?

Or spec engines and spec cars part of CART's long-term business plan a
few years ago?

Or 19 car grids?

Or having to buy TV airtime just like Ron Popeil does to get their
product on the air?

Or do you really think that bleeding money at absolutely a horrific
rate and having their stock go from over $30 to less than $2.50 was
ever part of CART's "business plan?"

Come on nit-picker. Give us some more fog and misdirection.

Biggest problem I see is she's not doing any favors for those
interested
in seeing more women in racing, including women themselves.

Every time she goes out she becomes a poster child for the ole boys
clubs.

no, we did not. She has a goal of winning the indy 500 and said that
a LOOONNNGGG time ago. Any idiot can figure out that eventually, she
needs to come to the IRL. She will do that when Rahal thinks shes
ready and when there are sponsors for it (not now for certain, economy
still sucks)

Well, he has to do something to try and find sponsors for her. Maybe
he figures the only way he can fund her is to let her beat him.

She's a menace. A gimmick, and a very tired one at that.

Like another poster said, the sad part is she is actually only the
prospects for future female race drivers.

She needs to be quietly removed from the series, quickly.
