It's official. With ovals being dramatic financial failures, the IRL is hoping to find tracks that can turn a profit. |

FTR, I think they can run the color schemes. I know I've seen it done before. If what I heard is correct, I'm a little surprised Player's will be cutting off all funding as of 10/1/03 with three events still scheduled. |

Your not from SoCal are you? Did it matter when it went from F5000 to F1? Did it matter when it went from F1 to CART? It doesn't matter who runs or where "your" from, the comment was on target. |

I don't know about anybody else but it goes a lot deeper than that for me. My hatred of that undeserving asshole fuck TG means if CART goes bye-bye I go fishing or something on non-F1 Sundays... |

Long Beach and Toronto will not hurt anything. Easy money. $150,000 for kit and $100,000 to hire a specialist. Than is about 6 million for all 24 teams. They will more than make that back at those two venues. With CART extinct there will be many times 6 million in sponsorships to be had with no effort at all. It is all good. |

Hmmm, you may have a notion there. Perhaps IRL should stay at Richmond and Michigan and the Eastern tracks. Let CART schedule races in Canada and Mexico and all the California venues they can get plus Portland. Most everybody races in Florida so that cannot be helped. And only the big three race at IMS. Just divvy up the continent. |
