I was impressed by Foyt last night. He was running fast enough that
Dixon didn't pass him for a very long time. In fact, during that
period, things went from Dixon being right on Foyt's tail to there
being almost a straightaway gap. Foyt made some nice passes of
backmarkers. He was generally OK when the leaders did start lapping
him. There were a couple of backmarker veterans who looked *really*
scary to get by.

Yes, he did eventually crash. But in a spot where a lot of drivers
(including some big names) have crashed.

Another seat filled with another gimmick that should go to race
driver. Sad the IRL has to resort to such tactics. don't they realize
it is an embarassment to the whole series? Don't they realize that 90%
of the fans out there do nothing but laugh at Foyt IV and Fisher. Tehy
make a mockery out of the whole series.

Drivers are supposed to be out there, in any series, because of their
talent - not because of who their grand daddy is or their gender.

Foyt 14 and sweet thing get sponsors. That is why they have rides.

"Sweet Thing" was having hell getting sponsors. Still is. Tony George
is her biggest backer.

The question is - why?

You're almost right - the color Blue is her biggest backer:

Tony George is trying to outwait the CART mess. We shall see. That is what
makes it fun to watch.

Generally speaking the money is in America. Americans will not learn to
watch road racing because it is somewhat too complicated. Americans will
watch oval course racing if the drivers are TV celebs. I did not make those
rules but those are the rules.

Sarah Fisher is simply a backmarker. There is not too much you can say
about that.

She's a loser and a menace. They need to color her "gone."

Like all the pleasure you get out of trying to be the "King of
Semantics?"

Or is it more like all the pleasure you get out of posting a story
completely irrelevant to these groups that demonstrates you are a
limp-wristed twerp with a belligerent girlfriend who calls the cops
whenever someone doesn't apologize for dropping a glass?
