Why would any self-respecting Robin Miller fan go to Indy?

Maybe because Miller goes?
Because he's a reporter.

Maybe that's because ever since that Tony George ego split, it sucks;
especially compared to before the Tony George ego split.

Open wheel racing had been going downhill for some years prior to the
formation of the IRL.
It was in a very slow decline. The split pushed it over a cliff.

nonsense

Nope. You're wrong. But we're used to that.

RM has it nailed.

If I am reading his diatribes correctly he says that OWRS is in its death
throes, the IRL was useless from the start, and NASCAR is plaqued by
cheating. So what should I follow?

My standards are nearly so high as those of the esteemed Mr. Miller so I
guess I will just follow all three because I enjoy them.

Since when can you read? Especially for comprehension.

Could you point to and quote exactly where it says that "OWRS is in its
death throes"? But I aree that the IRL is useless.

Your standards aren't high enough to use indoor plumbing.

Oh, gee. The 3rd grade village idiot dropped the point. But you
couldn't quote the statement that you so most conveniently and grossly
exaggerated.

Yes, he is. And he reports because there are people interested in it.

IMHO, true Robin Miller fans would want to see an event that Robin
considers to be worth reporting on.

He reports on Indy the same way that reporters cover other disasters.

Quite frankly, the future looks very questionable for CCWS. While I won't go
so far as to predict it's demise, the next several weeks will be very
critical to the survival of Champ Car.
