What's the story with her always at the back of the pack? Okay, road

For cars that are supposed to be equal, there's not a lot of
equality.

Driven is on TNT right now...jeez what a horrible movie.
When you start to scrape the bottom of the barrel for talent and
pretty much let anyone drive, the times will be all over the place.

Wasn't she competitive the first time around?
I don't think she ever really had equipment. I also don't think she was
ever all that competitive. OK for making the field in the IRL, but not
really a challenge to the better drivers or in more challenging series.

That said, I think she is a genuinely nice person and she'll have a
career in racing because she can make fields. She just isn't going to
win very often, if at all.

She cut corners in getting there. Once there she just didn't have the
skill set needed to make a car better. Running a USAC spridget means
nothing today and has nothing in common with a modern Indy car. If it
did, they wouldn't have formed the Indy Pro series. She might be a
nice girl and great with the sponsors, but Id be shocked if she
finished within 2 laps of the leader.

She did nto have first class equipment but still had a pretty good
team. She does have a pole and finished P2. At a very early age.
Talent? I think so.

Talent? In comparison to what's left of open wheel racing and what's in
the IRL fields, yeah. But that's so thin and weak its doubtful she'd be
competitive in any major league racing series.

Id disagree with you. When she got the pole and a P2, she was racing
against the likes of Racin Gardner and who could forget Dr. Jack. Now
that there is at least a little real talent in the series, she
couldn't find the front with a GPS. Spec cars, spec engines with
mileage limits, yet the short cuts she took to get to Indy leave her
without many of the necessary skills to be competitive there. If be
shocked if she were not at least a lap down by half way.
