More accurately: IMS, ABC, the Indy 500 and NASCAR. Gotta include IMS
as Tony has to make a bundle on parking, rents and hundreds of
concessionaires over the course of three races, practices and quals.

Must be nice having wealthy, popular and cooperative business partners
to work and become wealthy with.

I won't even include the golf course as it's a non-racing asset. But if
it's even close to what one of my clients pulls in with his, Tony will
never have to worry about money on that alone.

I doubt Tony's getting "the deal" from ABC that he used to...even if ABC is
holding on hoping for better times ahead, those TV deals usually have
performance (ratings) built into the price. Can you imagine how they cringe as
they assess the monday morning review of their
Sunday afternoon outings at Sparta or wherever?
Probably hoping they can get that NASCAR race on Memorial Day weekend too
someday, since it's not in
any sliding pattern.

Can't disagree with you about owning the Speedway though. It's his to trash,
degrade, tear up and build a Wal*Mart in. That will always be his advantage as
open wheel racing gets further buried by NASCAR in America's take on racing.

Ah...to inherit and be clueless. What a life.

WOW,
I liked Chevy powered by Ford better, but did you just get the Nascar thing
Ster?

Funny it took Smith this long to get it.

"Chevy powered by Ford" is funny, but is a
manufacturer thing. Has nothing to do with
sanctioning body concerns.

I've been aware of the NASCAR thing since
the Brickyard 400 started. It obviously upped
the income of the Speedway considerably,
and gave TG more money to blow or lose
on the IRL.

Obviously really upsets you that poor, defenseless, bankrupt CART
doesn't have anything or anybody to help pay its bills, eh Sterling?

Man, you are getting desparate.

First bitterness, then followed by innuendo and lies, and now you have
fallen to flagrant envy.

What a shallow and insecure life you must lead, Sterling.
