CCWS made travel easier for their fans by eliminating a stop over in
the mile high city along with not requiring a VISA for Las Vegas and
Phoenix. Or something like that i just heard no VISA for Vegas and
Phoenix.

Yes..it`s looking bad.
PR -wise.

Denver was a good track for a street race. Somebody at CCWS HQ needs
to step up and be heard. And I`m not talking about Bagdad Bob.
As a fan this shit is starting to stink.

The former sponsor Centrix is undergoing some serious financial
troubles and have laid off 2/3 of their work force. Centrix relied
heavily on working with credit unions but new regulations by the NCUA
no longer allows credit unions to use a third party in subprime loans.
Centrix was too heavily invested in credit unions for their customers
and once they lost access they didn't have a back up plan. Now we hear
some of the investors are filing suit against Centrix claiming some
fishy goings on with the companies finances. OWRS/CCWS was not
interested in continuing to operate the denver race without a sponsor
so they postponed it. Or as most feel cancelled it. There was no
schedule conflict this year but there would be one next season. The
earliest it could return would be 2009 if a new sponsor could be
found.

Looking forward to 2009 is extremely optimistic.
