Hey, Turbo Al, I would like to submit the following for this weeks
CQOTW competition. Never have I seen someone be a CHUMP yet put the
current "State of the CART" so well and accurately.

For official submisson, Doug Ashford from 07/02/2002:

"Oh, and by the way: the ultimate reason that CART isn't going away
anytime soon? People LIKE it. The teams, the drivers, the tracks,
and (yes) the fans. The hell with the numbers. They all ENJOY it.
You may only see it as a sinkhole, but goddammit it's our sinkhole,
and we're keeping it. NOT until so-and-so decides to pull the plug --
that's the IRL's problem -- but for keeps. You can bet your future on
that."

You got to admit anyone who makes the statement (regarding CART) that
"Goddammit it's our sinkhole, and we're keeping it" has got to be a
CHUMP through and through!
