Entire race to run under yellow.
Yellows? You kidding. On a narrow and dangerous street course, we
run
more laps under green then a IRL race runs on a oval. There is
simply
no comparison to the skill and speed of these cars as compared to
the
other folks that only worried about hiring good looking women to
drive. Considering the number of green laps on a street course so
far.......it been rather amazing...
We had a few issues with the new car..but, then again..that was
expected....
CART is inferior to IRL.
CART No longer exists. Get with the program. It's 2007.
CART and ChampCar is the same thing.
No it's not. Further proof you have no idea what you are talking about.

Yes it is. People who say "They aren't the same!" are just throwing
hissyfits. CART and
ChampCar are the same thing. I don't give a care about their official name
or if they were publicly or privately owned. They are the same.

Liar!

You have to provide a link, or document that proves this point of view...

Here is a link and document that explains how Champ car is the name for
CART.

Now, you MUST PROVIDE a link that proves your point of view....

Yep. Then TG split open wheel and that ended the sport.

I bet he made a ton of cash in the last 10 years though.

In his case, cash is much less important than ego.

Timed
events for open wheel cars should be a back up as in F1. If you can't
predict how many laps and cautions will probably take place in two
hours and set the laps according to come under two hours you have no
business running an open wheel racing series.

I'm pretty sure that's what the announcer said.

Wikipedia says this, too (second paragragph):

Honda is the speed king, buddy.
I like his use of "we". Does that mean he is an OWRS official, or is there
a mouse in his pocket.

How many laps was this race supposed to be anyway?

As I understand, all CCWS races are timed this year...no lap limit.

It is probably set up with the broadcast people to allow for a ten minute
introduction, 1:45 race, and five minute wrapup.

There are probably not 300 people left in the entire world who still
consider it to be a proper racing series. It is simply the pet project of
the current owners. They own the engine supplier and most of the events and
in some convoluted fashion they also control the broadcast coverage. They
also seem to have a lot of pull with the chassis supplier. The only thing
they do not own or control is Bridgestone. FedEx and Simple Green and
nearly everyone else has bailed on them.

At least Rahal didn't cheat like Marco and pass before the SF line.

He did have a rookie moment and find the fence. It is so uncommon for
rookies to make a mistake.
