It is simply the pet project of the current owners. They own the engine supplier and most of the events and in some convoluted fashion they also control the broadcast coverage. They also seem to have a lot of pull with the chassis supplier. The only thing they do not own or control is Bridgestone. |
Club racing can go on and on..... impervious to outside forces. ;-)
