My A/C takes a really long time for it to start blowing cold. I bought a recharge kit with a guage and hooked it up to the low side expecting to see it indicate a low refrigerant condition. Instead, it looked like it was really high and dropped into normal when the compressor kicked on. I didn't add any refrigerant. The compressor seemed to cycle pretty frequently. The days are starting to get hot and humid here in Louisiana and I need some relief... Any help would be appreciated. |

More than likely your cooling coil has much stuff covering it, dirt, mold, and crud. Buy some coil cleaner at an HVAC commercial business. I usually get underneath spray it up into the drain and rinse several times with water. Wear safety goggles and you will be really surprised at what flushes out. -- Coasty Semper Paratus (Always Ready) "orjay" <cycle.rj (AT) gmail (DOT) com> wrote in message news:RJjje.12846$DC2.10328 (AT) okepread01 (DOT) .. | My A/C takes a really long time for it to start blowing cold.
