Default arb bumper mounting - 03-26-2007 , 10:37 AM

does anyone have the bull bar for the grand cherokee ZJ? i am making
a homebrew front bumper, and i need some ideas for the mounting of the
bumper. if you have pictures of the parts used to mount the bumper to
the frame, or just pictures of the areas that it is mounted to, that
would be fantastic. thanks in advance

AFAIK, the ARB bumper (and most unibody bumpers) have flanges that go 12ish
inches back into the 'frame'. The flanges probably have nuts welded to the
other side so that a hole can be drilled through the 'frame' to bolt to.
It's important to get these stabilizer brackets in so you don't tear your
ZJ's unibody 'frame' to pieces.
