All I know is my old C-10 Chevy spent a lot of time axle deep
in muck (clay and drilling mud) All it needed was to have the
starter hosed off every now and then. The worst thing was the
bell housing packing up with mud.

well I could be into this stuff every week but I'm not but when I am
fixing them they are packed with mud very easy for the brushes to hang
up
