I just got a set of factory side steps for my 03 X from another newsgroup person and they came with the 14 bolts, but not the frame inserts. So I was looking online and it looks like Mopar part #6504397 for about $3.50 a peice will be what I need to put into the jeep frame to be able to connect the side steps. My local dealer's parts department is already closed for the day so I will have to give them a hollar tomorrow, but is this something that all the dealers will have in stock? Is there any way to get around having to also purchase the installation nut and installation bolt to be able to fit the frame insert rivet things into the jeep? If not does anyone know the part numbers to the installation tool items and how much jeep is going to stick me for? Thanks! Cameron |

Check ebay. Those inserts show up there all the time. "Ree-Yees" <ree-yees (AT) forgetit (DOT) com> wrote in message news:Ur2dnVA6Re5qX52iU-KYvQ (AT) comcast (DOT) com...
