Greetings. I have an 86 Cherokee (2.5L manual) with what I believe to be an AMC 20 rear end. I want to put a locker in it. Can someone direct me to one that will fit that axle? As well, what are the best as far as air, electric or mechanical. Also what might be the axle in front, Dana 30 perhaps? Thanks, Greg |

It's probably the D35 rear axle. Your best bet is a Lockright or other 'lunchbox' locker. Carl "jerryg" <Greggi... It will be the AMC 20, but they did use Dana 44s as they were going under, Like Mike Romain's here:http://billhughes.com/mikeRomain/ The AMC 20's cover will be exactly round:http://www.crownautomotive.net/catal...leCJSJ20R.html God Bless America, Bill 0|||||||0 mailto:LWHughes... 06 GC probably has the aluminum D44, but that's just a guess. I have heard good things about the Lockright, but nothing about the aussie locker. Carl "jerryg" <Greggi...
