Hi! It's me, long time no post! Mango Ze Tango and I are doing well, as a
Jeep he's very patient with me. But we have a problem driving us crazy.
Mango's sound system won't work. It has shorted out somehow. I unhooked
the Cd changer because one night it went back and forth by itself for a hour
or so until I darned near ripped it out. I disconnected it and it still
ran, with no power source. I finally shrugged and went in the house. Don't
know how long it ran after that.

The tape deck/receiver won't work at all. I can see the numbers of a
selected station, but no sound, no crackle, nothing. I plug in a tape, and
it doesn't engage at all. It will eject and load it, but the nothing
happens.

This is a stock tapedeck/radio. The cd changer is in the back. I hate it.
Mango has a sound bar and Bose speakers in the rear. Is there a fuse that I
don't know about? Or is it shot? Or worth fixing? Remember I'm totally
ignorant about cars. I have finally successfully mastered tire maintenance,
and and getting good at jumper cables. <G>
