I live permanently at 9800 feet and have my timing advanced to 8 (from 5
that the manual says)

Hi!

I have a '79 CJ7 with a 258 that I just rebuilt the motor on. The
timimng indicates 6 degrees. I live in Denver, CO and frequent the
mountains ranging from 5K feet to 10K+. Should I modify the timing
for this area?

Thanks in advance.

Greg
