You might find jeepclub.co.uk useful -- there seem to be some good forums on
there to read, but to post messages you have to pay £30 subscription.
However, if you have a look at the classified ads you can e-mail people.

How do you find the vehicle so far? I'm considering buying a Cherokee like
that you've purchased, spending 4-5K on one as a second car. (No plans to go
off-road.)

Hi Darren,

Where about are you based ? I'm in Birmingham at the moment.

I would advise that you do a full service:

Engine Oil and Gearbox Oil. Go to Halfords for this, as they will charge you
what you can buy the oil for (they have a flat rate based on engine size and
aren't priced to deal with the Jeep engine and make a profit, heh heh).
Transfer case and Diff oil.
Air cleaner.
Coolant.
Lube everything with a nipple.
Buy the Factory Service Manual - your dealer can get one for you. Its the
best 70 quid you will spend.

Have fun !
