I called our Lexus service department and talked with the service writer to
get a budgetary number for the timing belt service at 90K. He said that
they recommend changing the belts at 105K instead of 90K, as indicated in
the owners manual. I asked if it was applicable to the 1998 model year and
he repeated the statement. Sounds like there must of been a service
bulletin recommending the change. Anyone heard of this change?
