Depends where you go, but ballpark figure is $500. Make a few calls.

Lexus dealer charges at least $1200 with new water pump.

And you need to step on the accelerator and the brake pedals
a certain number of times within a certain timeframe
with the glove-compartment door and the trunk open
before the Lexus computer will disarm itself and let you work on
the t-stat, or something like that.

service manuals for anyone who cares to look.
