The windshield wiper on my 1990 300 CE has ceased to articulate when it sweeps the windshield. It was suggested that I may be able to remove the oval (more-or-less) cover in order to clean/lubricate and repair it. However, how to remove it is not obvious to me. With a small mirror I can see small holes on either side of the underneath of the assembly, but how to release the cover (if possible), is not apparent. |

You have to losen all bolts holding the plastic cover at the winshield. Next you remove the drain, its clipped with many clips to its bottom. http://www.detali.ru/cat/oem_mb2.asp...83&GA=722 %2E 358&GM=717%2E433&CT=F&cat=15S&SID=62&SGR=045&SGN=0 3 Then remove the complete motor and wiper unit. One clip, two bolts. http://www.detali.ru/cat/oem_mb2.asp...83&GA=722 %2E 358&GM=717%2E433&CT=F&cat=15S&SID=82&SGR=120&SGN=0 3 |
