Default Turn Signal issue??? Help? - 03-28-2007 , 10:09 AM

RE: 98 ML320.

Stumped..

Passenger side signals don't work. there is a fast clicking sound coming

from the fuse box. even when I turn on the lights, that side is out

completely.

Front/ rear bulbs look fine.

Peanut bulb, side marker - hard to tell.

Any ideas?? Even if one bulb were bad, the whole side of the car goes out?

My understanding of sub atomic particle physics is rather limited but as it
was explained to me, you have neutrons, positrons, electrons and then there
are other particles one of which is the homotrons, they hang out and blow
fuses when they get a lucky.

Change the bulb... see if there is water in the housing... that can short
out the circuit and blow fuses.

Thanks Tiger!
No water.. I think I am leaning towards a fuse box issue... Have you ever
taken the fuse box apart? I ran a jumper once, did a mod where the front
aux lights would go on with the rear fog... I finally had them programmed,
and when I pulled the jumper, some of the strands remained in the box... I
pulled the box out, and saw that it's actually 2 sections, top and bottom..
have you ever split these???
