The seller delivers the goods, cleared for export, when they pass the

The buyer pays shipping, import duties, clearance charges etc.
Could be costly.

I've got a set on one of my pickups that I may sell in the future with a set
of 10" wheels on new tyres. Need to sort the restoration out first.
Decided to go 110% at it instead of just transferring the stuff I want to
keep from my current car - ie engine

PS I love the phrase "one of my pickups" - wont be ably to use that for long

Yep, that's about right. In the UK it would be spot on the right price.
Interesting to see the 12" wheels with chrome hub caps. They were an
aftermarket accessory in Japan. We imported a few of
these caps a few years ago and they sold quite well, but can't get them
any
more.

So if you buy the car in Japan to drive in Japan do you have to pay that?
