Default ignition switch/stearing lock - 08-20-2006 , 12:32 PM

Hi

The ignition switch on our 92 open classic is getting temperamental. We
have had a new key cut and given it a spray of wd40 but its no different,
obviously something is getting worn. Is anything in there serviceable or do
I just get a new from. If so any suggestions where from appreciated.

thanks

Gary

Hi Gary
You would need to remove the switch to attempt a repair,
and there's not much you can do with it other than clean it,
I would change the ignition switch,
Where are you located.

Hi,
If your looking for new parts, then mail order from one of
the big mini specialists is the answer,
if your looking for used, then M&M in Warrington, will mail order it to you
http://www.mini-metro.co.uk/index.html
or someone in your area.
HTH,
Fitzy
