'91 Mini Cooper. Is removing the 3 instrument nacelle as simple as the
Haynes manual suggets. Just grip both sides and pull !
I'm unwilling to pull too hard because of the brittle hard plastic used,
only to find load of screws hidden behind.

no just pull and the plastic bit will come any in your hands easy as that,
hope you are going to fit a nice dash borad now !

No if it doesn't shift with gentle persuasion you will end up cracking the
instrument housing, so remove the side airvents and trim and undo the screws
holding the unit in place.
