You'd have never walked away from that if you were in a rover / bl /bmc mini

Cracking.

though.
A race prepped one, with a roll cage and full harness, and wearing a
skid-lid?

I bet you would, though I wouldn't like to try it...

Cheers,

Colin.

you wouldn't get such a traumatic crash in the old mini, due to less
peripheral mass !

also a classic mini has a much lower centre of gravity, ive seen them spin
horizontally when hitting a tyre wall rather than flip several times.....

Thats because they're not carrying as much speed as a new mini [1] would
entering Schwedenkreuz, jeesh, have any of you guys actually driven the
nordschleife ? If a classic hit the armco there carrying the same speed as a
tuned fat bmw cooper s you would loose your fuckin legs at least.

PS - Learn to post properly

[1] - Not including the Ringmini Van as that is *proper* quick.

Hi,
Yhe roadholding and handling of a proper Mini would probably mean it would
not go out of control anyway.
