hey all, it's me again in the learning process and am stuck. I just got my brand spanking new wood and pickett arches wich looks rather coool, received them just with some rubber and no screws! is that normal because |
|
i really can't see how to fit them at all! Please advise on how to fit them |

I guess it's better to make some ASCII art instead of trying to explain in my crude english... If you hadn't made any comment, I certainly would not have guessed english is not your first language. Your written english is better than that of many native english speakers who post to usenet. |

That's seriously ugly! Are those self tapping screws which just cut a thread into the body flange? ^^^^^^ |

If so, I would very seriously recommend you use stainless stell screws, readily available from any boating store and many hardware stores. I would also look into some sort of rust protection for the steel where they penetrate the flange. |
