Just been to the lakes and I go to all sorts of events with the same bunch of people every time. We have all found that the exp (or is that too much of a D&D term?) we have all had with mini clubs is that they start out with the best of intentions and then end up arse shaped. People start talking about executives and comities and that sort of thing and ruin the fun. So we just all hang out together. Just did the lakes with the five cars (and a monster truck that tagged along!! Fantastic!!!). I suggested that we made a sign with small lettering saying "couldn't be arsed to form a" then traditional mini club banner "Mini Club" The Muffin Man Hi Muffin man |
We did the same tour and just like you , we are not part of any club, we
just join up with other clubs who are doing something interesting, No
politics, just good fun,
Got lots of photo's of that weekend, email me if you would like a copy.
Anyone know anything about the Dales run, or The Heartbeat run, let me know,

I know that I am going on the Dales Run. There web site is
http://website.lineone.net/~ml1275/ and my car is on it!! For some reason
the Heartbeat Run website is not working.
