Hey,

I've got a spare standard 12G202 1098 head and was going to have a go at
porting it myself. I've got some specs for chamber shape etc. But am
undecided on valve size, whether to stick with the standard sizes, or goto
inlet 1-1/4", exhaust 1", or possibly even 1-1/16" exhaust with the larger
inlet.
Just after some opinions on which will probably be the best for the time and
money, and any predictions on power gain from your experiences.

Cheers
Pete

The 1-1/16 is the standard replacement for the ex valve so that won't
make any difference except better seating.

Not sure what you mean there. The standard valves of all non-1275 motors is
1".
