The "Microsoft" mails just go straight to my trash can, but it's the
"returned mail" ones that seem to be carrying a virus and are coming through
the newsgroup that are difficult.
They seem to have a random 'To' line, subject and body. They get through by
putting your e-mail address in the 'For' line. In Outlook Express, I can't
find any way of setting a rule to delete these.

In any case, the download time is irritating. As you say, getting a bit sick
of it now.

You may have to put up Mailwasher to read the server and whats on it
then delete it from there.

www.firetrust.com

free download

My option at present is to fill the server mail box - I have an
allowance of 10M = I received 50 yesterday and deleted them now I
understand what's happening - so theres another 63 to go off - that's
7.5M not long to the fill so my mail will shut down.

Hey, what a brilliant bit of software! I kept meaning to sort out something
like this, but never got round to it. Looks like it is a $29.95 after the 30
day trial. A small price to pay to reduce the aggro of deleting spam all the
time.

Thanks for that.

HI,
While we are on the subject of spam, DO NOT open anything with Microsoft
patch or update in the content line. It is a virus attemting to F*** up your
Outlook Express.
