I'm gonna top-post this just to bait him. He seemed to get uppity about
people not deleting the body of the post they're replying to. I think it
was he who had a lot to say about me insulting someone. Oh yeah and JF
cross-posted it to:

alt.autos.microcars,alt.autos.mini,alt.autos.mitsu bishi,alt.autos.montecarlo
,alt.autos.new-mini

One of which doesn't even exist on my server!

What a w**ker.

His technique is pretty simple:

He waits for someone to say something remotely negative (like Steve -
"but the wheels & tyres described as "good" I would say need putting
in the skip"),

He adds his inflamatory comments ("What bloody junk, the whole lot of
it. also please do not top post Steve, as people will just ignore
idiots like you")

He crossposts the whole lot to other groups, in particular to other UK
car groups.

His weakness is an obsession about top posting.
Not that he seems to mind top posting, but that he doesn't like people
telling each other not to top post. So he includes comments about top
posting and crossposts to groups where there are rabid
anti-top-posting crusaders.

Unless you want endless disruptive flame wars to become a regular
feature of this group, WHENEVER you see something which tempts you to
reply "Don't be a dick", "you're bloody rude", "what's it got to do
with you?" or "top/bottom posting is for mugs", STOP. Look at the
headers. If it's crossposted, just killfile the thread. If you
absolutely cannot resist being sucked in, at least remove all the
other groups or set the followups to alt.dev.null.

Now wait to see his reply to this post, no doubt crossposted all over
the place.

Graham.
