Move to the UK, the prices have dropped by (the equivalent of) 10 cents per
LITRE over the recent months. Ironically to what they were before there was
any talk of war. As soon as there was talk of war they went up because of
uncertainty about whether there was going to be a war or not, forcing oil
prices up. As soon as the first bomb dropped the price per barrel dropped
because they knew what was happening.

To sum up, the war cost us 7p per litre for a few months.

Petrol is expensive here anyway.

Why aren't fuel prices dropping like expected? There is a web site that
shows a graph of fuel prices since 1995. I thought after the war we would
see a decrease, but regular gas is up 10 cents a gallon from the same time
last year. See it at www.storydata.com

move down under guys, we pay 95cent per litre in NZD...thats only anout
30pence in the UK funny money...
You guys in the UK pay through the nose for everything for motoring, even
your insurance is ridiculous. My S Works was 700GBP a year in the
UK...because I had 2 cars LOL...in NZ I have 6 cars, 5 Mini's and a
Landrover V8 and I pay less than 1000NZD a year for fully comp cover with a
maximum excess on any vehicle of 100NZD (devide by 1/3 to get GBP).
Your road user fess are 3 times ours, your fuel is 3 times ours and new car
prices are about 20% more....
And we dont sit in qeues to get every where, rush hour for me is between 8
and 8:30am and means it takes me 10 minutes longer to get to work......our
idea of a traffic jam is more than 5 cars in a row LOL
I can drive 250km up country and see 1/2 dozen other cars in an hour, or
take a back route and see no one !!
Granted your roads are in better shape than ours, but then we dont have
motorways tp speak of, and besides in a Mini you alllways take the long and
windy road anyway LOL

Rather not be a target BOINK....and $1.50USD is about $3.00NZD so 3.8L is
just about the same price really

Or to the States if you dare... where "regular" goes for about $1.50 per
GALLON (that's about 3.8 liters). 'Course I understand that the bulk of
the
cost in the UK is in taxes.

Why are they messing with the sacred .9p? It is only there to con us like the 1.99 instead of 2 pounds price tag.

The Muffin Man

Hi, I wonder if you put exactly 1 litre in the tank they would give you the change of .1p?
