Anyone out there fitted one of those ' snap-off ' steering wheels ? No. I am curious as to why you would want to. These are meant to allow access to single seater racing cars. Getting in and out of Mini's has never been a problem. At least not one that would be helped by removing the steering wheel. Of course, I can only speak from personal experience as a fit healthy person. If you are not, perhaps you have a particular problem. If so, I'm sure help is available. John |

By the way, I'm sure you were sincere in your comments, but someone of a more sensitive nature than myself could have taken what you said the wrong way ! Squibby |

Ps - tips for removing/refitting 1) Undo the retaining nut, but dont take it off compeltely. the wheel needs to be either pulled or hit from behind with rubber mallet. leaving the nut partially on will stop the wheel flying off and hitting you in the face! |

Hi All, Anyone out there fitted one of those ' snap-off ' steering wheels ? Is it a straightforward job i.e. just spanners, or more complex ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Squibby |
