I replied to this directly, but for the record, I'll reply to this
thread as well.
Don't take the 123/Mini application list out of context. Sure there are
a few stock Lucas service numbers that the curves in the 123/Mini
cannot match, but those few applications are bone stock engines which
rarely exist in the Mini community. Virtually everyone has modified
their engines and that's what the curves were designed for. Have a look
at my website,
www.TDCperformance.ca under the tuning guide. There you
will see some recommendations on which curve family to start with based
on the volumetric efficiency of your engine.
For the engine in question, a modified 998 Cooper, the 32 degree family
of curves would be an excellent place to start.
