Someone broke the glass part of my son's door mirror. The exterior housing seems to be OK but the plastic section which holds the glass was lying beside the car with the glass cracked. Can this section be got as a replacement part? Does it just clip back into the housing? Thanks Janice |

Does it just clip back into the housing? Buy sticky on mirror at motor factors. Get all of the old mirror out of the plastic bit. Stick new mirror into plastic. Good as new. The plastic's normally held on by a few ball joints. If these aren't sprained open, it'll work fine. And ford will only sell you a wing mirror as an entire unit at a guess, or at a silly price. |
