Can you help advise me. Is this trolley http://tinyurl.com/ylvtjb suitable for moving a VW Golf engine? Don't be daft! Look at the shape of it. |
|
The car is parked on land across the road from our house and this trolley is to help him move the engine across the road (which is often quite busy). Drive or push the car over when it is quiet. |
|
Is the trolley strong enough? No. |

Is the trolley strong enough? No. Are there other important features it needs to have? It must be strong enough and the right shape. |

But what about this config of the trolley - or something similar? http://www.scottsofstow.co.uk/images...rge/42579c.jpg |

Are there other important features it needs to have? The standard way with a Hillman Imp engine was to nick a supermarket trolley (one with a flat frame at the bottom for the wheels not one of the new Tesco style A shape ones), and chop the basket off. Perfect height for going under the engine once the rear panel had been removed from the car :O) |
