Default Anyone having problems obtaining a new Mazda? - 01-31-2007 , 06:07 PM

I am having a problem with an order with New Car Discount. After reading
some positive comments about New Car Discount online, I placed an order
with them in October for a new Mazda3 TS2 (5 door, metallic silver).

An initial delivery date in mid November has been repeatedly deferred as
each delivery date arrived. Initially by a only a few days, then a by month,
then another. Most recently the January delivery date was deferred to
February. This is obviously very disappointing. (I'm currently awaiting a
reply to my emails and letter asking them for an explanation.)

The company's website says all their cars are UK supplied. Can anyone shed
any light on whether there is a general problem with Mazda UK? Or a problem
with New Car Discount?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

if i had the same problem i would get in contact with the UK sales
department manager at Mazda UK and tell them what was said here and invite
their comments then ask if there is any way that they could offer/obtain a
similar discount, also have you checked the possibility of buying one from
mainland europe at a reduced price, 13 months ago i bought a new vehicle
from germany, it was better spec than the UK version and i saved £3000 there
was a downside however, ---------- i had to travel to wales to pick it up,
oh how awful "not"

You'll also tend to pay more for your insurance and it'll be worth less
when you come to sell it.

about eight years ago :-(

I'm sorry, I didn't understand that.

It's a science fiction spin off from Doctor Who? based in Wales.

Strange lot, the Welsh.

I hope you haven't paid a significant deposit unless it was with a credit
card.
