Does your bank not do something?
Most have an add on package for your current account to include breakdown
cover.

But my bank account never breaks down.

Oh, I see what you mean.

In my case, my bank (Abbey) doesn't do a packaged account. And even if it
did, I don't really want to pay a monthly fee to get some dubious discount
deals.

Moneysupermarket.com do a comparison service for breakdown cover amongst
other things.. try there then come back here for opinions on specific
services...

I put two cars, two drivers, home and away plus recovery (but no European
cover) and it came up with First Call GB for £60.80.

Anybody know anything about them?

Brilliant. Thanks for the insightful recommendation, the acres of personal
experience and the thoughtful phrasing of your post.

I never would have thought of trying them.

Damn, missed them off my list too. Duh!

I'll just check that moneysupermarket.com did actually include the BIGGEST
companies in the UK in their comparison site. what do you know, they did!
