Default Cheapest Petrol Website - 11-04-2006 , 06:02 AM

A friend of mine said that there was website where you could put in your
post code and it would tell you which garages had the cheapest petrol in a
20 mile radius (updated on a daily basis)

Anyone know this?

Cheers

Tricky

Have you tried www.google.co.uk for "cheap petrol" or similar?

Or asking your friend :-)

Why didn't your friend tell you! Do you have full internet access, are you
able to use a search engine and make some effort. What would you have done
before posting about being helpless here?
It's not worth travelling miles to save 1p per litre anyway, you will cancel
out savings and it will cost you more.

Try http://www.petrolprices.com/
That's the one I use. Excellent it is too.

I *usually* save 3p/litre and sometimes 7p/litre by switching between a
garage at one end of town or the other.

When I can take a trip to the nearest city, park for free and have the lower
petrol prices cancel out my trip its all good.

Thanks to everyone even the piss takers

In the past I have found it better to ask a quick question about a website
rather than search for it myself - in that way you get the recommended site
that everyone is using

The friend who mentioned it had only heard of its existence and was not a
user which is why he didn't know the url
