Yes, but nobody asked you for your opinion.
It's a public forum, I can say what I like.

But you don't have anything of any value to contribute here, so why don't
you search out a corner of the internet where your undoubted knowledge would
be more helpful?

What would be of value in a thread about serial drink-drivers, in your
opinion?

Just turn up on time - more often than not I was leaving the office
within 3 minutes of entering it just to sign in to show you've been
there (when my report upon completion states that I'd spend at least
an hour in every session discussing my 'issues' with my prob.officer.)
IMHO the probation service is just job creation for those that are
already employed there. They were mostly disappointed that I hadnt
already been in prison for somethig else, no drugs offences, wasnt
molested or abused as a child - either physically, sexually or
mentally.........

Yeah it must be mate. I think the conviction automatically goes down as
a criminal record. What did they make you do on probation?

This wasn't the first time, was it...?

No mate it was the 2nd

Honest answer. I like that. Stop bloody drinking when you've got the motor
though.

Might as well be honest. The newspaper report about it is on the web
for anyone to read

I wish community service had been as easy. It took me months to work it
all and its a waste of time. Good luck with the court case. Let me know
how you get on

Along with quite a few posts you've made about it in alt.uk.law

No insurance, refusal to provide, a reported "attitude" - and a reading
twice the limit - the morning after...

A year ago I was sentenced to a three year ban for drink driving. Is
it true that after a certain time I can apply to have my ban reduced?

Fuck it - just drive anyway.
The fine will be cheaper than getting insurance.
