Bought a Taiwan made replacement wing mirror for my Citroen on Ebay. Cost less than half of official Citroen dealer spare, arrived quickly and seems to be working fine including heating and outside temperature sensor. It says 'replacement for oem' on the packaging so it presumably isn't to OEM spec as such. It doesn't pretend to be a Citroen part so it can't be called a fake but if it does not even say it is to oem spec may I have bought a crappy part that could fail early? |

Dot (Cotton (AT) Vic (DOT) com) gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying : It doesn't pretend to be a Citroen part so it can't be called a fake but if it does not even say it is to oem spec may I have bought a crappy part that could fail early? It's a mirror. How is it going to "fail", short of being twatted against something solid? |
