angry? don't flatter yourself that you're anything other than a minor
irritation. And my opinion is that you're 100% wrong in your opinion on
this subject. To spell it out for you - I disagree with your assertion
that (all) small firms make more specialised oils, not better oils, and
my alternative opinion is that some small firms may do that, but others
may not, and (unstated in my previous post as being obvious to the
clear-of-thinking) that the best judge of an oil's quality is the
standards that it meets.
The stupid twat posting as Tommy is killfiled here as effectively as I
can manage. Of course he knows he's in a thousand kill files which is
why he morphs his "From" line over and over again. However, I'm still
seeing occasional followups like this one.

He is, as you identify talking drivel again. Castrol, Duckhams, Comma
and many other small specialists have each made their particular
contribution to the development of improved lubricants. Duckhams in
particular being a leader in producing better oils than those
manufactured by the big names in the industry.

Sadly since BP took over Duckhams it has become just another brand.

Doesn't Castrol now too belong to one of the big boys?

Yes also BP, I just get depressed listing all the takeovers.

As eloquent as you think you might be Stephie, a reasonable man might
possibly think that talking about SG/oilways/detergents/viscosity etc etc
might NOT be the road to go down as someone asking such a question
possible would not know what you tossers are talking about hence my
referring to Gunge for example

STEVE FIRTH

Steve from Firth Consulting in the North Of England ( just google him If
you do Not believe) you sad and angry little sausage , Why don't you go
and think:-)) ( too much of a change eh?)

One piece of advice for the whole world ?

I posted a reasonable suggestion / piece of advice here BUT It was not
agreed with!

If you disagree with the tourettes type of regular who goes ballistic If
you disagree here then make sure that you hide your e-mail !

To do this go to tools/accounts/properties and in the e-mail bit make sure
your own e-mail is NOT there - juzt make something there including an @
symbol - x@y.com

I know that the sick sods who get angry here are not to be crossed !

Usernet (?) may try and monitor BUT I just went to the local Police STation
- I started geting child Porn (naked kids on beaches ) when I started
disagreeing with th angry regulars, I had to speak with the Police and get
a new e-mail address

Tommy (Tommy (AT) xrglktgfx (DOT) com) gurgled happily, sounding much like they
were saying :

Did the Police help you to get a new email address? Or did they just charge
you with wasting Police time?

No. I did that all on my own - how clever am I?

As intelligent as the question - DUH

Mind you kiddy porn is quite interesting/sick I guess? - or Do you
disagree and think there's nothing wrong with the sick fuck?

Tim Vincent is a name to watch - Isn't he a "child presenter" ?

OOOOH another complaint there - If he wishes to be silly :-)

He actually made a complaint because I suggested that huge companies have
larger R+D Budgets.

Might I be ever so bold and say I still think that is so?

He will eventually discover when he and S Firth have a little conflict (If
they are not the same person) that these NGs have as Steve has said in his
defence the argument is quite "robust".

If Tim would like to put the opposite view then i will be quite happy to
forward this to the (large) Oil Companies Legal Dept.

i will stick to the belief that crappy oil is fine for those who change the
oil fairly often and also those small specialist companies that "specialise"

Crappy oil is fine if you have a crappy car and don't care about its life.
But then you might as well leave the original crappy oil in.

I'm sure you know what you mean. I don't.
