Default faulty rover 220 sdi - 05-19-2007 , 03:24 PM

i have a 1996 220 sdi which when you run the engine at constant revs, the
management light comes on. ease the throttle and it goes out. when the light
comes on its in limp home mode.
i have had a diagnostic check and they said it was the first injector which i
replaced-did not work.
then i was told to repleace the inlet manifold sensor, still no joy.
next was the crank sensor and i'm back at square one
can anybody help me
colin

Check the wiring loom to the injector pump, particularly around the
bulkhead and around the bonnet slam panel. Sometimes it can rub/chafe
and cause one of the wires to break, which causes the symptoms you
describe.
