I don't think they 'give' anything away. They probably make a profit.
The questions are deliberately easy so anyone can get the answer right,
and at £1 a pop I expect they get enough entries to more than cover the
cost of the car.
If that is so, why shouldn't there be winners?

Of course there are winners. For there not to be so is completely illegal.

I know that.
I was questioning why, given the comparitively few entries required to pay
for the prizes, the OP, or anyone else, should believe there might be a
fiddle.

VBH driving a blue Honda S2000 this week in the article about

the programme.

Indeed I have, bloke who won it had a gammy leg, and so couldn't operate
the fiendishly stiff clutch.

Seats don't smell of Vickys love juices though
